This was at a Barathanatyam performance at the Siva Vishnu Temple. There were over 25 different dance schools there. We practiced for a very long time. My dance teachers name is Deepti Mukund. We go to her house for lessons and so far I have done 3 performances. One was at an elementary school celebrating with just the peole in my dance school. Then, I had one at a mall celebrating Chinese New year. Then we had this performance. They are a lot of fun. I have been doing dance since last February. Thulasi's friend Pallavi is very good at it. She has been doing dance for at least 6 years. The dance teachers daughter, Shreya, did her arangetram last summer. She is in 9th grade. DAnce is really fun and I hope I can do it for a long time.

Gingerbread Houses!!!!

Last Friday we made gingerbread houses!!!! All my friends came over and we had a lot of different things to decorate with. Then we played games and had lots of fun. Then on Monday I made another Gingerbread house with my 4-H club. That is a club that I go to with my sister and we make a lot of different things. It is an agricultural club. A lot of people from my church are in it. These are some pictures of the Gingerbread Houses!!!!

London, England - Friends and Family!



With my Uncle Roshan and Aunt Pramo. We stayed with them in Harrow. We had a lot of fun playing on the air matress.
Pramo aunty's cheese cakes were delicious!!!

  



Right now I am in Harrow, London. I am here for Winter Break. I arrived on December 24, 2010 at the London, Heathrow Airport. I was picked up by my cousin, Prem and my uncle, Roshan. When we got home we had dinner then went to sleep because we arrived late that night. The next day was CHRISTMAS!! We first went to my grandparent's house because that was our main reason to come. Then we brought them to my uncle and aunt's house for the Christmas celebration.  First we ate. Then we all played Charades. A lot of people left after the game. The next day we stayed at my grandparents house with my cousin and helped around the house. Today is our fourth day out of  eleven and I am at my grandparents house writing on my blog. Bye

Our London vacation has come to an end. We left London on January 3rd, 2011, arrive in Washington, D.C. in the night. My aunt - Acca, and my cousin - Sanjeevan met us at the airport. We came home said hi to my grandma -MeMe and went to sleep. Amma made us all go to school the next day. It was hard. I woke up so early the next morning - I guess,I was still on London time! We had a great time in London. I can't wait to go back.
